this next LO is of my son's 14th birthday! I love banners and this one is held up by 2 kinds of metal: the clippy thingy (can't think of its name right now) which is held on by a star brad. Something different and fun!
this LO was also for CK Summer Camp day 4 - use metal(s). Here is the badge we get:
I created this LO for the CK Summer Camp Day 1 - to use markers and pens. There was a page we could download and use on our LO. I knew I wanted to use the banner for the LO and (this is so cool - ) there were the exact number of "flags" I needed for my title!!! Too awesome! This was a fun day and I'm not finished yet!
I did this LO to document the CK convention my husband took me to and waited for me after each class as I was in a wheelchair and couldn't get around so good! He took the day off since I had 4 classes on Friday of the convention! I am so blessed!
This page is for CK Summer Camp Day 3, "found items" and I used what I kept from the convention - the tickets to each class, the flyer for the convention brochure and the wrist bands which were required to access the vendor fair! I had a really great time!!
For each challenge we participate in for the CK summer camp we get a badge:
this is my first badge and my first time participating in this event over at Club CK!
I was thrilled!! It's great 'cos she just took the plunge and now has a page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/courtneywalshwrites Wow! I'm floored and in awe of the way God works!!! She is giving away a copy of "A Sweethaven Summer" when you "like" her on Facebook then go to her blog and comment about liking and sharing her on your Facebook wall!
my task for today (and probably the next week or so) is to try and calm the storm in our office/my scrap room!
my husband and son made me a new work space that you would be able to see in this picture if not for the mountain of scrap!!! ha ha hee hee! get it?! scrap!! instead of - well, you know!! I'm goofy! now my coffee is cold! ahhhhh! must have more!!
when they put in my new desk (the old one is for sale) we were able to open the closet door in this room which could not be opened because the old desk blocked it! that was a year and a half ago... and we found a ton of old scrapbook stuff! papers, an album my son had started way back when, stickers and die cuts to name a few items we found! my desk looks like the closet threw up on it! ewwww!
but seriously, on the bright side - this is perfect timing because the local scrapbook store is having a "garage sale" where you can rent a table for $10 and sell all the scrapbook stuff you don't want or need anymore! you can earn credit for the store or just $$ if you like. The sale is in August so I have plenty of time (or so I think) to go through all my scrappy stash and weed out what I want to get rid of!
I am gonna scrap today as well so I'd better get started!:) blessings all!
this next LO is one I was able to actually finish at the 12 hr. crop at the local scrapbook store Saturday. I had such fun! There were familiar faces and I made some new scrappy friends! The group I was with was so nice and I feel like I've known them for years! I loved it! This LO used pp from the Yankee Doodles collection by We R Memory Keepers and I used the Silhouette for the stars/flag border! So awesome! I loved making the banner! Have I said how much I'm loving making banners?! Well I do!Thanks for stopping by! Blessings!
just scrapping today while Mike is working from home...the local scrapbook store I frequent is having another 12 hour crop tomorrow so I am getting ready for that...I have ideas for several LOs and will hopefully get lots done at the crop! I didn't stay the full 12 hours last time. I think I can manage 5 or 6 hours! I hope to see some familiar faces! off to scrap!!
wow! I love my Silhouette! It's awesome!
