spring chicks are coming!

yay! I just ordered 2 spring chicks to start our backyard chicken adventure! yes! they are real live chicks! our family loves fresh eggs and can't wait to start this new journey! are we crazy?! maybe!

awesome news!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so today was my 9th infusion at the hospital of my M.S. medicine! had to get "stuck" twice BUT I received awesome news from my doctor right before my appointment about some test results. A week and a half ago I had my first MRI since starting this new medicine and well...(oh heavens! I'm tearing up!) the results are great! I mean there were no changes from the last time I had an MRI! meaning no new lesions and no changes to the ones I already have!!!!! no changes = the medicine is doing its job!!! I feel better than I have in a long time! These last 9 months have been such a blessing - what with feeling better, getting back into life, being able to scrap again, back to church and even being able to go back to a wonderful group for a great time of fellowship and Bible study! God is so good! I prayed a year ago to feel even just a little bit better and have been blessed a thousand % more!! Thanks for all the support and encouragement and prayers from everyone!!!! Thank you for the kind comments and for putting up with my enthusiasm!!! y'all ROCK!!!!!

weekly and Sketchy challenge LO

it's Monday! hope everyone had a great weekend! I started and finished this LO for the weekly challenge over at Club CK and the first challenge over on Let's get Sketchy! This was fun! I challenged myself by using paint and tried distressing a bit! The style I am trying lately is "can I do this or not!" So I am a work in progress so to speak!

I am still working on using PSE to straighten and crop the photos that I upload online. Hopefully I can scrap some more today. Thanks for stopping by! Blessings!

JUMP!

I finally got some scrapping done yesterday when I went over to my friend Jill's house to scrap! We are going to the Creating Keepsakes convention here in St. Louis in June so as well as scrapping we figured out what classes we wanted to take! I am so excited!
The LO I got done is of Liam playing basketball and I like how it came out! I stuck, stapled, glued and journaled to my heart's content! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

this is my first try at a challenge over at Scrapbooker's Anonymous which was to use stickers - lots and lots of stickers!! I used a bunch of letter stickers in the title of the LO...this was fun!

I just can break out of this "melancholy" state of mind. I tried scrapping but my sewing machine has gotten the better of me. So I am stopping for the moment and will try again later. This was such a hard week. I was hoping to snap out of it but I still have not been able to break free. For those of you who do read this blog thank you and I appreciate your support. Prayers are welcome.
I do have a bright spot to share...yesterday I received some scrappy goodness from a fellow peep on clubck! what a welcome bit of sunshine to my otherwise cloudy atmosphere!:
