my creative process....

as I was working yesterday on a layout, I had to stop and capture with my camera how the desk where I was "creating" seemed to have exploded! Here's what I mean:

this is truly a labor of love and what I like to call my "creative chaos", I mean "process!" What's funny too is that I have to clean up all of this in order to start another page! Crazy I know!

first Christmas LO!

we had another big snow last night! well...big for where we live anyway! I had so much fun with this Christmas layout I did for 1 - 2 - 3 - Get Scrappy! here is challenge #5:
I made banners with baker's twine and mini staples...the pp is from an older American Crafts Christmas collection "Hollyday" and I made the light bulbs myself. Here is what I came up with:

so this is my first Christmas layout of the season. I have a bunch more photos printed out for some more pages I hope to do this weekend! Thanks for stopping by and I love comments! Blessings my scrappy friends!

new challenge at Scrapping Everyday Miracles!

CHRISTMAS Theme Challenge

Merry Christmas!
It is official! December 1st is here and for many, the season of Advent is starting today! As one of the most beloved holidays in the Christian faith, Christmas is truly a wonderful time of the year when we commemorate the birth of Jesus!

Matthew 1:23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Luke 2: 11-12 " Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

Your challenge is to create a project of any kind that celebrates Christmas!  You may enter as many unique projects as you like, and with as many other challenges as you like!  *Please mention Scrapping Everyday Miracles blog, AND link back to our challenge! All entries are due December 21st by 11:59pm, Eastern Standard Time.  Winners will be announced on December 28th!
We have 3 prize packs this month, and here is what you are playing for:
