Done!

I have finished the "flags" for the cupcakes!!! and I did 80!!! wow! this was an easy project to do and I can't wait to see them on the cupcakes! I plan to take pictures of our venture tomorrow and will post afterwards!

I think I have mentioned before on here that I am part of a prayer group for our school district. It was called M.oms I.n T.ouch but it has been changed to M.oms I.n P.rayer (go figure!) The group meets at my house once a week to pray for our kids, the teachers and faculty and staff of our small school district. With it being close to the end of the school year another mom and I are making cupcakes to say thank you to the schools! Actually the other mom is making the cupcakes and I am making decorations for them! I thought these would make good decorations and easy too:

these flags were for a LO about a parade in our school district and I'm thinking of "thank you" on one side and "from M.I.P" on the other. I have the toothpicks ready to go:

it's almost the weekend and I was able to scrap a bit this week. This LO is for Scrapbookers Anonymous - to use maps and brads. The arrows on this page are brads courtesy a friend over at Club CK. I also am using this LO for the weekly challenge over there - use a quote. Everything on here is still from my stash! I did go scrappy shopping last week but haven't used any of it...yet!!!

@ Sketches in Thyme there is a design team call! love, love, love sketches and this LO is all about our new friend "Bunny." There was a class at Club CK by Kim Watson about "Spring Flowers" and I used the one I made here on this LO! So here goes:

we found a new friend last Sunday in our driveway! poor little thing was freaking out! so my son and husband brought it inside and then went around the neighborhood to see if anyone had lost a parakeet...it's funny 'cos you don't often see "Lost" signs for birds....the boys came home with no luck of finding its owner. Monday we went and got a cage for her (at least we think its a girl...from what we read online) and she has a nice little house/cage in the office. Here she is:

so now we have a bird! She is getting used to her new surroundings and is not very noisy. In fact, her cage is next to our water cooler and when its coils cool and make a whistling sound, she answers it back! Crazy I know!!! I'm off to scrap about her now! Yay! Today over at Club CK Kim Watson hosted a class on "Spring Flowers" and I am going to try to do 1 or 2 for this LO. We named her "Blue Bunny." Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
