easy does it!
Another month has passed by so very quickly! I didn't do much today. I did some scrapping and finished a Sketchy Thursday LO as I was inspired and motivated by Diana and Lisa over on the blog post for yesterday's challenge! Thanks ladies! I had fun with a few different techniques like the flags and the wavy title. I used punches and bling, buttons and chipboard!

London Tea Room cupping!
Lynn and I went to the London Tea Room last night for a tea cupping! It was a talk about various tea varieties and sampling those teas as well. The talk also revolved around the health benefits of tea. It was a ton of fun! Lynn and I had a blast!

scrappy day!
How was the weekend for everybody?! I say that like people are reading this! mine was fabulous I must say! Saturday was a nothing day and Sunday was busy! We went to church where God is working big time! then we skedaddled home to meet up with Josh and his dad for the Cardinals/Cubs baseball game! Mike got the tickets last minute at Boeing. We had great seats and my energy level wasn't too bad. It was an awesome game! The Cardinals won! It was their last home game of the season. I hopefully will be able to scrap it soon. So all in all it was a busy, busy day but in a positive way!
So besides blogging, this is just a scrappy kind of day - it's really nice so the windows are open with a nice breeze coming through the house, I am working on a LO and have ideas for a few more. Now how many I'll actually get done is the question of the day! I'm gonna get to work!

It's Friday!
I don't know why I am excited it's Friday. I mean I don't work outside the home any more and I can pretty much do whatever I want, whenever I want! I do try and stay productive at home: dust, sweep, run and unload the dishwasher...you know, stuff like that. I look forward to the scrappy challenges every week and I read alot. So I did a LO today for Sketchy Thursdays and Frosted Designs. These are the only sites I usually do challenges from. This sketch was fun! I liked making a mess with the white paint! I couldn't find a paintbrush so I used a piece of jute/twine and ran it back and forth in the paint! The cardstock is from Archiver's, the dotted stamp is from Prima Marketing, the white paint is from Adirondack and for the stamp I used Versa Color.Everything else is misc. from my stash. Thanks to Natalia from Sketchy Thursdays for this week's inspiration and motivation! Everybody's LOs are simply awesomeness!
No big plans for the weekend. I may try riding my bike again but we'll see. We have church Sunday and then of course there's football!

one fine day
I did a layout today for Frosted Designs and the #4 challenge at Club CK! I really wasn't motivated but as soon as I started scrapping the happy bug bit me! Scrapping is truly therapy for me. It helps me feel productive and happy that I'm telling a story for generations to come! This challenge was awesomeness! Thanks!
I can't post the LO I did for the Chinese Whispers on Club CK until "the reveal!"
cold coffee...
Yesterday went for my 3rd infusion of M.S. medicine and it went well. just a little dizzy and lightheaded when it was all done. Got signed up for Chinese Whispers on Club CK awhile back and finished the LO last night and emailed it to group head peep this morning. With that said I will post it after "the reveal!" I'm nervous for some reason...I guess it's just the fact that this was my first group thingy! It was fun though!
My coffee is cold! ahhhhhh! Since I'm getting around better and have more energy, I drove DS to school then hit Starbucks before coming home and doing my quiet time with the Lord! He is good and His timing is of course perfect! The scripture at the top of the page for today's devotional was Psalm 94:19 "when my anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought me joy". I had just found this verse last week in the Moms In Touch prayer group! It is so true that God works in mysterious ways! Yay God!
Off to work on die cuts for the October swap! Have a blessed day!

fun with fred!
okay....so I finished the LO I was working on not expecting to finish it 'til tomorrow. But I did! I love the Echo Park paper so much this is my second LO using this it!
I got the ribbon idea from a peep in the CK gallery. I love how it worked! Never thought I would use buttons or ribbon on a boy LO but I think it works!
it's Monday!
it's a rainy, kinda gloomy Monday! I was able to go to the Affton Days parade over the weekend! I will scrap about that this week. I am doing a LO today of my DS and me! Can I just say how great the peeps are on Club CK?! I made 2 new friends in the past 3 days! The warmth, support and encouragement are awesome! I get my 3rd infusion of new ms medicine tomorrow. After the 5th or 6th infusion I will stop calling it new. Seems kinda silly doesn't it? Anyway we went to church Sunday for the first time in a looooong while and it was great! God is so good! We all went to our respective classes afterwards and it was a real blessing for each of us! Well, off to scrap now!

fun, fun, fun!
This LO is for Sketchy Thursdays and Scrapfit! I had such a blast with this because these are my new friends from the STL crop at Memories on Marshall just last weekend! I was inspired by all the designers at Sketchy Thursdays in one way or another. Thanks gals! All the pp is Echo Park's Life is Good, the flowers are misc. and Bazzill, and the buttons are from Basic Grey and my stash. The birds are from Maya Road. This was fun and it kept me busy most of the day!
So I saw my M.S. doc yesterday and she is very pleased with how I am doing! I passed all of my tests with flying colors! The only thing I had to do was get a blood draw and even that was no big deal! Thanks to everybody for their prayers, encouragement and support! God has blessed me greatly!

having good days!
so I'm getting around better and I have more energy than I've had in a long time! Praise God! My next infusion of medicine is a week from today and I see the M.S. doctor tomorrow. I only have good things to tell her! Thanks to all for the prayers, support and encouragement! I scrapped a LO today while lurking and chatting on Club CK. Good times I tell ya...good times! I'm going for a 1,000 posts by the end of the year which I was assured is doable by several peeps on the MBs! As of tonight I am already up to 450 - so it's definitely possible I predict. Anyway, this is what I did today.

STL crop with peeps!
Hi there! Just got back from Memories on Marshall where we had the STL crop from Club CK! It was AWESOME! I am so blessed to have met fellow peeps and made new friends! I was able to do a total of 14 LOs! It was so much fun scrapping with the girls and the food was 5-star! No kidding! Snacks were also provided and I loved the pillows on my bed! The biggest thing I am thankful for was the fact that I did not think about having M.S. The weekend was relaxing, restful, and just plain fun! I left feeling inspired and motivated!
I see the doctor Wednesday and only have good things to tell her: I feel great! I truly believe God has answered my prayer to feel better by having me on this new medicine. I'm getting around better and have more energy. It's just good all around!
So one of the LOs I did was inspired by Diana from Sketchy Thursdays. I love the color green (really I love chartruese but...) so my LO is dedicated to this color and my thanks goes out to Diana for the motivation! I stamped, poked, punched, glued, traced and drew on this LO. I had a blast! TFL!

much better, feel great!
so I have been scrapping for 3 hours doing a 2 page LO for the issue challenge #1 for Club CK. It's a gorgeous day...sunny and 70! I am getting around really well and have been feeling AWESOME! I am in the process of packing for the STL crop this weekend at Memories on Marshall. I am very excited to meet and scrap with fellow peeps! We had an uneventful Labor Day 4 day weekend but it felt great to do nothing!

Flourish this, flourish that!
Today was fun! This LO is for the Frosted Designs challenge to add flourishes to a LO! I used my Epic 6 for the flourishes and clear stamps by rhonna farrer from Autumn Leaves and jet black ink. I had fun!
